Jaganify.ai (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Smart Guest Assistant platform, accessible at https://jaganify.ai. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform — whether you are a property host, a guest scanning a QR code, or a visitor to our website.
By using Jaganify.ai, you consent to the data practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the platform immediately.
2. Who This Policy Applies To
2.1 Property Hosts
Individuals or businesses that register accounts on Jaganify.ai, add properties, and subscribe to a paid plan to activate the Smart Guest Assistant for their guests.
2.2 Guests
Individuals who access the Smart Guest Assistant by scanning a QR code at a property. Guests do not create accounts but do interact with the AI system.
2.3 Website Visitors
Anyone browsing jaganify.ai who has not yet registered or scanned a QR code.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 From Hosts
- Full name, email address, and phone number (during registration)
- Business name and property details (address, photos, description, rental price)
- Identity and compliance documents uploaded during onboarding
- Subscription plan and billing history (payment processing is handled by Stripe; Jaganify.ai does not store card numbers, bank details, or any raw payment data)
- Login credentials (passwords stored using secure hashing; never in plain text)
- IP address and device/browser information for security and fraud prevention
3.2 From Guests
- Text messages and voice queries submitted to the AI assistant
- PIN entry events (we record attempts but not the PIN itself in plaintext)
- Device type, browser, and IP address for session management and abuse prevention
- Wi-Fi auto-connect events (network name/SSID and Wi-Fi password, stored in encrypted form in our database to enable auto-connect when guests scan the QR code)
3.3 Automatically Collected Data
- Cookies and session tokens for authentication and user preference storage
- Usage analytics: pages visited, features used, time spent, error logs
- QR code scan timestamps and property association data
4. Third-Party AI Services
The Smart Guest Assistant is powered by one or more third-party artificial intelligence APIs, which may include:

- Other AI providers as may be added with notice to users
When a guest or host submits a question or voice command:
- The query is transmitted to the relevant AI API for processing.
- AI providers may process and temporarily retain query data per their own privacy policies.
- We do not intentionally transmit personally identifiable information (PII) in AI queries. Guests are advised not to include personal data such as full names, credit card numbers, or government IDs in chat messages.
- Property-specific context (Wi-Fi details, house rules, local recommendations) provided by hosts may be included as context in AI prompts. Hosts consent to this when adding a property.
Jaganify.ai is not responsible for the data handling practices of third-party AI providers. We encourage users to review the privacy policies of these providers.
4.1 AI Limitations and Disclaimer of Liability
The Smart Guest Assistant is an AI-powered tool designed to provide general information and guidance to guests. However, AI systems have inherent limitations and may not always provide complete, accurate, or up-to-date answers. Guests are advised to exercise their own independent judgment and due diligence when acting on any information provided by the AI assistant.
IMPORTANT: If the AI assistant is unable to answer a question, provides an incomplete response, or a guest acts on AI-provided information and suffers any loss, injury, inconvenience, or damage as a result — neither Jaganify.ai nor the property host shall be held responsible or liable in any way. This applies to any action taken based on AI-generated instructions, recommendations, directions, or advice. Guests use the Smart Guest Assistant entirely at their own risk and must apply their own diligence before acting on any response received.
5. Wi-Fi Auto-Connect Feature
Jaganify.ai may offer a Wi-Fi auto-connect feature that allows guests to join a property’s Wi-Fi network by scanning a QR code. Regarding this feature:
- The Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password are securely stored in the Jaganify.ai database in encrypted form. When a guest scans the property QR code, these credentials are transmitted to the guest’s device in encrypted form to enable automatic network connection.
- Wi-Fi credentials are protected using AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS in transit. Access is restricted to authorized platform systems only.
- Guests’ devices handle the actual network join process; Jaganify.ai does not monitor guest network activity or internet usage.
- Hosts are solely responsible for the security of their Wi-Fi network, including choosing strong passwords, enabling WPA2/WPA3 encryption, and maintaining router firmware.
- Jaganify.ai is not liable for unauthorized access to a host’s Wi-Fi network unless directly caused by our platform’s negligence.
6. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage host accounts and property listings
- To authenticate users and prevent unauthorized access
- To power the Smart Guest Assistant AI responses
- To process subscription payments and manage billing
- To generate and manage QR codes for properties
- To send transactional emails (OTP verification, password resets, approval notifications)
- To improve platform features, fix bugs, and conduct analytics
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
7. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:
Service Providers
AWS (hosting), MongoDB Atlas (database), Stripe (payments), email delivery providers, and AI API providers — all under data processing agreements.
Property Hosts (to Guests)
Hosts control what property information is made available to guests via the AI assistant. Hosts are data controllers for the information they input into the platform.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Jaganify.ai, its users, or the public.
Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred. We will notify you via email and/or a prominent notice on our website.
8. Data Retention
- Host account data is retained for the duration of the account plus 2 years after deletion for legal compliance.
- Guest conversation logs (AI chat) are retained for up to 90 days unless the host requests deletion.
- When a host deletes a property listing, all associated data — including property details, photos, AI training content, Wi-Fi credentials, QR codes, and guest interaction logs for that property — will be permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days.
- Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, Inc. Jaganify.ai does not store, process, or retain any payment card details, bank information, or sensitive financial data on our servers. Stripe retains transaction records in accordance with their own privacy policy and applicable financial regulations. You can review Stripe’s privacy practices at https://stripe.com/privacy.
- You may request deletion of your personal data at any time — this includes your account profile, property listings, uploaded documents, and associated AI interaction logs. To submit a deletion request, email support@jaganify.ai. We will respond within 30 days. Note: payment records held by Stripe are subject to Stripe’s own retention obligations and are not within our control to delete.
9. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- TLS/HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
- AES-256 encryption for sensitive data at rest
- Bcrypt hashing for passwords
- IAM least-privilege access controls on AWS
- Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
Despite these measures, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and encourage users to use strong, unique passwords and enable two-factor authentication where available.
10. Children’s Privacy
Jaganify.ai is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
11. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data (right to be forgotten)
- Object to or restrict certain processing activities
- Data portability (receive your data in a machine-readable format)
- Withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered hosts and/or a prominent notice on our website at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
